# Events

An event is a special type of timed gameplay element in which players have a certain amount of time to reach milestones in a special building and get rewarded for doing so.

Events happen every week and it is **free to participate**. Upon entering each event, players are introduced with a milestone list, and each milestone brings a certain reward to players. The rewards of each event contain in-game rewards and collectable badges that will be converted into collectible **NFTs in future releases**.

Some events will have special rewards such as Hora Tokens or other crypto rewards, and additional goodies.

In Update 2.0, the ultimate reward of each event will be NFT GPU parts. Also in order to participate you will need to pay a certain amount of Hora Tokens, as an entry fee.
{% endhint %}

## Event Badges

By progressing through the milestones, users collect badges for certain milestones, and there are 6 types of them:

* Participation Badge
* Silver Badge
* Gold Badge
* Platinum Badge
* Diamond Badge
* Champions Badge

Once the event is finished, users receive the most prestigious badge they collected during the played event. The list of all badges collected can be found in the special Trophy Room building on the map.

In the future, the badges will be tokenized **ERC-1155 assets** that can be traded on the marketplace. This will allow the players to have collections of all event badges, and by having a great collection of badges, there will be benefits in terms of gameplay for the player, like a permanent boost, for instance.
